Community Guidelines

Effective: October 2026

These are the house rules. Short version so everyone knows the deal going in.

  • Names are your choice. Use your real name or a handle, whichever suits you. You'll be judged by what you say here, not by what your profile calls you. Do set an avatar so you're not a gray box.
  • What's said here stays here. Don't repeat or share what other members post in the forum. Discussions here are private.
  • Don't post anything legally risky about named people or organizations. Discuss pro pickleball, the tour, and sanctioning bodies freely, and reference players and public figures in the sport as you like. What's out is anything defamatory or identifying about a private individual.
  • Disagree like men. Disagree on ideas, not on people. No contempt, no personal attacks. Honest disagreement is welcome; hostility is not.
  • Sharing and selling. Post anything that serves the mission: articles, videos, exercises, or other people's content. If it's relevant and you think it's worth seeing, bring it in and say why. Promoting your own products, services, or channels belongs in the business space and nowhere else. No affiliate links anywhere. In the threads you're a man among men, not a vendor. The test is simple: if the post benefits the forum, share it. If it benefits you, take it to the business space.
  • The business space. Reach the required trust level before you post there. One thread per business: update it instead of starting new ones, and bump it no more than once a week. Say who you are and what it costs. No multi-level marketing, crypto or get-rich offers, and no reviewing your own business from another account. Nobody can pay to be pinned or featured. Keep the pitch in the space: unrequested sales messages to other members are grounds for removal. The Charter applies there too, and moderators can remove any listing.
  • Posting video. Unless it's a very short clip, embed it rather than uploading it. Put the clip on YouTube or Vimeo and paste the link here and it will embed. Other hosts work too, though they may not play inline. I don't host long videos. You can post a game, a drill, an exercise you're unsure about, and get community feedback. Say what you want feedback on so others know what they're watching for. Set it to unlisted rather than public, and remember whatever's in the frame is in the frame, including your face and where you're filming.
  • Moderators' word is final. If a moderator or I make a call, that's the call. Disputes go to a moderator by private message, not into the forum.

Each member is solely responsible for the content they post. Removal of content or accounts is at Proluminary LLC's sole discretion. For the full legal terms, see the Terms of Service.

These guidelines are enforced under the Terms of Service. Serious violations may result in immediate removal without warning. Removal decisions are at the discretion of Proluminary LLC and are final.
