In this video I discuss the social friction and avoidance behavior that the DUPR algorithm creates, since pickleball is predominantly doubles. I also talk about a cheaper, faster, more inclusive, and more rewarding local alternative to regular tournaments, one that operates outside the DUPR system and that you can easily implement in your group or community.
